Located in the Graça neighborhood of Lisbon, this recently-renovated attic apartment offers calming views of the Tagus river over adjacent rooftops. Designed for a filmmaker, the space features furnishings and decoration that provide a tabula rasa sanctuary to foster creativity. Generous windows infuse the lofty space with natural light, punctuated by inky light fixtures with slithery, nearly animated forms, inspired by the client’s surrealist work. The kitchen is complemented by a custom millwork breakfast bar, including a built-in drawing table for artistic work.
