Interior design of an Icelandic advertisement agency located in Reykjavík.  

The building is dated from the year 1930 where it has served prior to this point to two different usages, an office in the main entrance part and an industrial usage in another part, these two areas of the building needed to be combined into one office. The office area is divided into two floors where the goal was to create an inspirational and a warm interior in consistency with the design of the building itself.

These two parts of the building have different character and needed a vertical connection between the ground floor to the second floor with new staircase. On the second floor is a coffee and lunch area with relaxed atmosphere that is used as an informal meeting space. 

On the ground floor the reception and meeting rooms are designed in consistency with that part of the building where the original terrazzo flooring framed with brass lines is conserved and inspire the new interior design palette. In the industrial part the imperfections and irregularities present in the space were embraced and incorporated into the design of an open workspace.
