The villa is built in the middle of a jungly plot of land, nearby the charming Quadrado (main square) of what is acclaimed to be one of Bahia’s most charming and characteristic spots, the village of Trancoso (Brasil). The design and decor of the villa is inspired by the site, the clients’ desire to live ‘in a bright glass house with all the cosiness of a typical Bahian fazenda (farmhouse), the craftsmanship of the region’s carpentry and the work of the local indigenous tribe Pataxó.
