The Apartment Residence

The Apartment Residence is located on the 4th floor in a charming 18th century building without lifts. There are two bedrooms each with a queen size bed, a large living room which doubles as a dining- and/or work room, a comfortable and cosy drawing room, a spacious bathroom with a free-standing bath as well as a shower. The toilet is separate to the bathroom. There is a large dine-in kitchenette (no oven). A total of 180sqm for your enjoyment.

The hybrid gallery was founded in 2011 by Tina Seidenfaden Busck exhibiting a dialogue of 20th century furniture, contemporary art and design. And it is now also possible to stay overnight and experience this amazing location.

Tina Seidenfaden Busck has over the years collected furniture and objects for this project. The Apartment is carefully curated with a continuously changing selection of art and design objects from the 20th century and significant pieces from many of the renowned contemporary designers that have previously exhibited at The Apartment, such as Ilse Crawford, Jessica Ogden, Märta Måås-Fjetterström and Muller van Severen.

The Apartment also displays pieces from Tina Seidenfaden Busck’s private art collection, with characteristic works by artists such as Tómas Saraceno, Nathalie du Pasquier and François Halard as well as distinctive Japanese, African and Mexican folk art. The Apartment is a singular expression of luxurious at-home comfort – an ideal aesthetic experience and a restorative stay.

The Apartment features: 180 sqm of accommodation, two bedrooms with queen size beds, Egyptian cotton sheets and towels, large bathroom with shower and tub, equipped with hairdryer and useful bathroom amenities, toiletries by Aesop, separate WC, well-appointed kitchenette (fridge/freezer, table stove, Nespresso coffee machine), drawing room stocked with a book collection carefully curated by Isabella Mousavizadeh from local English language bookstore Books & Company, dining area and living room which can also be used as a ‘home office’, cable TV and Chromecast, sonos sound system and WiFi, access to the house’s private courtyard and children’s playground, fresh flowers and green plants
