The architect who developed the Specktra building was Jorge Rocchi, who carried out a work that surprised everyone for its innovation and interior and exterior originality; to the point that he received international awards in architecture events of the time in Europe.

"What started with scarce resources and pure heart could become a solid, strong and spectacular work," said the architect who currently works in the urban development area of ​​the Municipality of Zárate.

“The disc when it opened - in 1984 - had an area of ​​780 m2 on three floors and in 1989 it had an area of ​​2,900 m2, between open and closed areas. “The structure is prepared to continue expanding in different ways,” says the designer who was also involved in the provision of bowling equipment. The first extension was to provide the bowling alley with “two simultaneous tracks with dissimilar music that did not interfere with each other; it had VIP sectors; a complex audio system installed by the sound engineer Giovagnoni; the equipment of greater advanced in luminaires worked that later the technology of laser illumination was added, that were novelty in spectacles of other cities of the world like in the pyramids of Egypt and Barcelona. Specktra came to host 8,500 people at a party (according to the box office), that was fantastic, everyone danced the best music, and the best sound, like the best disjockey in the world, ”Rocchi described.

The magnitude of the bowling had its place in architectural publications of our country and the world. “In 1993 we were invited to Rimini (Italy) to the mega party of the spectacle of the world of cinema, television and Discothecas, and we were awarded as a prize for technological innovation: On that occasion the German engineers proposed us, and we left in international catalogs, like an outstanding record of Argentina among all of the planet ”, recalled Jorge Rocchi.

According to the technical detail, the building “has the characteristic of being a functional construction, and the structure is consistent with the implanted land; as well as the shape of the beams describe the arch of the entrance, as support and entrance to its main access, also the service and sanitary area was centralized which allowed greater surveillance and control. I had access to service, artists and catering without hindering the main entrances of the public. ”
