Simon Horn has been Britain’s best known bed maker since 1982 when it transformed British bedrooms with its classic 18th and 19th Century French beds. From the Lit Bateau to the Louis XV and other traditional designs, these romantic beds are still at the heart of Simon Horn. Based on antiques, generously re-sized for modern living, they are handmade using the same craft skills and materials as the originals.

Simon Horn also offers a wonderfully eclectic collection of luxury beds and furniture inspired by other classic, contemporary, retro and even futuristic themes. Many have bespoke elements and are made or hand finished to order.

Finishing

Bespoke hand finishing brings our furniture to life, and makes it truly yours. We can polish, paint and upholster to create finishes in any colour or fabric. We like to use traditional upholstery techniques in our headboards and chairs, with fine curled horse and cattle tail – to give the best feel and longest life. Our experts hand paint to your colour palette and provide the right level of distressing and patinas.

Bespoke

A favorite with interior designers and architects, Simon Horn offers a wide range of bespoke services, from one-off bed and furniture designs to specialist staining, polishing, lacquering and painting in any chosen color. Beds can be upholstered in a great choice of materials, including butter-soft leathers, or in customers' own fabrics. Simon Horn's bespoke upholstered headboards are another brilliant resource. Made in the UK, they follow the customer's specification in every detail from material, size and shape to buttoning or nailing details. Matching upholstered couches bring an even more sophisticated finish.
