The site is located in the heart of Port Vell, a centre of gravity for tourists thanks to its attractions. A pedestrian walk, the Rambla de Mar, connects La Rambla to Port Vell in a walk on the sea.

The project idea is generated through the intersection of some of the identification points of the
city. The sea with its continuous movement, the waves that shape sounds and smells
on the shore reciting a fine poetry.

The proximity of the Mirador de Colom monument that celebrates the discovery of America, the Gothic cathedral of Barcelona Santa Maria del Mar. And again, the sails of a ship moved by the wind that moves away from the coastline.

The pavilion consists of a wooden base, with three steps that raise it from the square bringing the walking height to 45 cm. Composed of three risers of access. The waves shape the roof, composed of a structure in reticular steel of triangular form, repeated throughout the surface.

The panels consist of triangles composed of fabric that resembles the sails of a ship,
then where in them the light filters and the atmosphere of the whole enters the internal environment e vice versa, the internal environment is projected towards the outside.

In the interspace of the cover triangular glass panels are designed to isolate and close the structure. The roof is supported by tapered circular steel pillars upwards, forgive a sense of lightness to the structure. The perimeter closings are glazed, favouring the perception of proximity of the sea, and illuminating environments with natural light throughout the day.

The interior spaces are flexible, composed of removable and reconfigurable walls.
An exhibition area is planned with configurations that can be modified according to needs.
At the centre of the pavilion is designed a patio, a void of continuity, dominated by a tree in the centre, as a point of recognition and balance of the entire interior layout of the rooms.
