THERMOS HOUSE
These words in the easiest way illustrate the technology of this house.
Thermos house is a fully passive house made of styrofoam in Izodom 2000 technology.
It presents many energy-saving and ecological solutions such as heat pump, floor and ceiling heating , ventilation with recuperation and cooling, smart home system and extensive roof with stonecrop mats.
The raw state of the house was made by the owner himself from styrofoam block like from lego blocks.
The building opens onto an internal two-story green patio, which is used as a summer room. Patio brightens the house from the inside and gives a sense of intimacy to the owners. The elevations were finished with natural materials: concrete, wood and completed with climbing plants.
Vertical divisions of the facade refer to the surrounding slender pines and larches tree trunks. The forest rustles and the house quietly moves works in natural rhythm.
In few years all nets on smooth surfaces will be covered with greenery. Ultimately, it will be a green cube with only elements of concrete, wood and glass that reflects surrounding nature.
This is proof that you can create interesting architecture despite the limiting technology.
