The restaurant at Viktualienmarkt (the main culinary market) in the historic center of Munich was converted to a modern, bavarian tavern specializing in porc delicacies. The atmosphere is rustic-contemporary. The interiors were refurnished using natural materials such as oak wood and corten steel. The piglet motives in the backlit plexiglass wall and the perforated corten steel bar accentuate the space. The rust colour of the corten steel is enhanced by the bright orange logos and illustrations. The furniture was developed to measure. The wall-integrated benches can be lowered to accommodate extra guests.
