Villa Median | HOME&CO

This fairy-tale holiday villa Median is situated in a small village Golubovo, halfway between Pula and Rovinj (Istria). The construction began in 2018. and it took exactly one year.
The house has a total of about 200 m2 on 2 floors with four bedrooms, each equiped with a bathroom, a living room, a big dining table and a kitchen with an island. In the spacious living room there is a fireplace and a comfortable lounge area for watching television. From the living room you can proceed to a large outdoor terrace and a cosy swimming pool.
The exterior part also has an outdoor fireplace, a dining area, a lounge area and a sunbathing area with comfortable sun loungers. On the upper terrace there is also a sunbathing area.
On a plot of 1000 m2 guests have their own park for children and a volleyball court. Near the house there is an olive grove of 4 hectares, from which the award-winning olive oil is derived.
The interior and exterior design of the house was completely crafted by Home&Co designers, whose job was to create a warm and relaxing home atmosphere. The house was found in an unfinished state with already existing external carpentry, the whole concept had to be created from very beggining, from colours of walls to furniture design and decoration. So the decision was to use only gentle colors and natural materials in the project. During the planning process, more intensive tones of earth tones were chosen to create accents in the interior and to get in contrast to the rest of the interior. The main focus of the designers was focused on the simplicity of space, only a few details in decoration was used to gain the space.
Outside, the house was built in a modern style, thanks to architectural studio Arhzona 21 from Pula. The house is modern with straight lines and the designers wanted to follow it in the interior furnishing, but not on the basis of strict minimalism, but with an eclectic approach to make space more enjoyable and warmer. For this reason, designers leave an old showcase that is located beside the dining table which keep an important memory to the investor and which gives a special charm to the whole space.
The most interesting part of the designing process is definitely when you enter the already painted space, when all the equipment and furniture is arrived, and the house is ready for decoration.
