SWEET ALMOND FACTORY
OFFICES La Carlota / Spain / 2019
The agricultural company, Dafisa, has banked on PORCELANOSA Grupo for the flooring, the bathrooms and the ventilated façade installation.
The materials used meet the quality expectations required by a production centre.
Dafisa started its business production in 2000 as a seed production company. Nowadays, and thanks to having been firmly consolidated in the sector for almost 20 years, the company plays the leading role in cotton ginning, as well as in the production of extra virgin olive oil. Its industrial and logistics centre, which is located in the town of La Carlota in Córdoba, takes up an area of some 8000m2. Because of the demands which come with a production centre, Dafisa has banked on PORCELANOSA Grupo for the building materials for its offices. Avant-garde designs and high-quality material for floorings, bathrooms and an ambitious ventilated façadeproject as well.
An impressive ventilated façade by STON-KER
PORCELANOSA Grupo carries out its continuous research work on the development of advanced systems for ventilated façades, which is considered as being the most efficient and reliable ceramic laying system for outdoor wall tiles.
With regard to the Sweet Almond Factory office façade, the Technic Nieve STON-KER ceramic stone from Porcelanosa has been opted for. It offers great durability and resistance in outdoor spaces. In the 59.6cm x120cm format, Technic Nieve shows a light tone off which benefits light reflection, as well as heat insulation, resulting in better energy efficiency which is typical of the ventilated façade systems. These advantages are added to the sound insulation of the building. In some of the façade volumes, the Smart Tanzania Almond series from STARWOOD has been opted for, in other words, the ceramic wood from PORCELANOSA Grupo, in the 14.3cm x 90cm and 22cm x 90cm formats. An exclusive and elegant design which is inspired by wood that highlights accesses and some strategic areas in the building.
STARWOOD is also present in the Dafisa premises through the Tanzania Nut model in the 14.3cm x 90cm and 22cm x 90cm formats. We are dealing with a material which is highly suitable for floorings which, provides the project with ceramic quality and anti-slip properties.
State-of-the-art bathrooms with Krion and Noken
The companies, Krion and Noken, whose equipment turns out to be perfect for high-traffic areas, have been chosen for the office bathrooms. The KrionTM solid surface can be found in the countertop and the bathrooms, which require little maintenance and are also easy to clean. Other advantages of KrionTM are its durability, its resistance, zero porosity, great thermoforming ability and anti-bacterial properties.
The sanitaryware and bathroom taps are from Noken Porcelanosa Bathrooms, specifically the NK Concept series.
Every assurance in demanding spaces
PORCELANOSA Grupo is also present at the Sweet Almond Factory through floorings for demanding areas such as the oil mills. For this space of 100m2, the Street Arena 45cm x 45cm high-performance through-body porcelain from Urbatek has been opted for.
One of the other options which has been chosen regarding floorings, is the raised access flooring from Butech, which offers an easy installation and is adaptable to interiors and exteriors alike.
