The Pool House | Ceramiche Marca Corona

For the Christopher Kennedy Compound Show House, the most eagerly awaited and original initiative of the Californian Modernism Week (14-24 February 2019), 14 of the designers in vogue in the United States have been invited to reinvent the rooms of a spectacular property dating from 1962.

Among these is the architect Boudreau, engaged for the design of the Pool House. To develop his eccentric design proposal with a retro flavour – perfectly in line with the Mid-century Modern style of the event – the designer chose Marca Corona ceramics, in particular the three-dimensional coverings of the Bold collection and the floorings with a Motif Extra marble effect.

All the rooms of the guesthouse overlooking the pool are characterised by a decisive mix of materials and colour: the three-dimensional structures, the silky glazes and the vintage BOLD shades combine with the luxurious elegance of the Motif Extra floorings, bringing the interiors to life in perfect 1960s style. While the kitchen and bedroom boast a total-pink look thanks to the 2 three-dimensional Round and Line patterns in Marsala version, the bathroom has an even more audacious colour, between Bold Round Marsala and Bold Line in delicate Sage green!

Marca Corona’s exclusive colour and marble coverings are decidedly glamorous solutions, perfect for the Pool House and the glitz of Palm Springs!

Per la Christopher Kennedy Compound Show House, l’iniziativa più attesa e originale della Modernism Week Californiana (14-24 Febbraio 2019), 14 tra i designers più in vista degli States sono stati chiamati a reinventare le stanze di una spettacolare proprietà del 1962.

Tra questi, l’architetto Boudreau, incaricato della progettazione della Pool House. Per realizzare la sua proposta design eccentrica e dal sapore retrò - in perfetto accordo con lo stile Mid-century Modern dell’evento – il designer si è affidato alle ceramiche Marca Corona, in particolare ai rivestimenti tridimensionali della collezione Bold e ai pavimenti effetto marmo di Motif Extra.

Tutte le stanze della dependance vista piscina si caratterizzano così per un crossing materico deciso tra marmo e colore: le strutture tridimensionali, gli smalti setosi e le tonalità vintage di BOLD si uniscono all’eleganza lussuosa dei pavimenti Motif Extra, dando vita ad interni in perfetto stile ‘60s. Se cucina e camera da letto sfoggiano un look total-pink grazie ai 2 patterns tridimensionali Round e Line versione Marsala, nella sala da bagno si ritrova un color blocking ancora più audace, tra Bold Round Marsala e Bold Line nel delicato verde Sage!

I rivestimenti colore e i marmi esclusivi di Marca Corona sono soluzioni decisamente glamour, perfette per la Pool House e lo sfarzo di Palm Springs!
