Design Statement.
The client of this project is a Chinese creative media company --- Youhug Media, whose business including producing TV series and films, and managing actors and actress etc. Studio DOTCOF created an elegant, leisure, and artistic working atmosphere for this client’s Beijing new office.
At the entrance, a curved steps enclosing the communal area into an “amphitheater”, where events, meetings and lectures will happening. Two blocks inserted into these steps. One is a glass box meeting room, another one is a brass-made “secret doorway”. Walking through this “secret doorway”, you will arrive a semi-outdoor terrace, which been surrounded by plants. This is the place where people can drinking coffee, eating, casually chatting with people, looking out to the views... It’s an office oasis to balance the busy and tense working mood.
