Hampstead Manor is a refurbishment of an old college in Central London, which used to be a single building of laboratories and classrooms that specialised in the study of botany. Recently converted by Mount Anvil into a residential development, the luxury houses maintain key period features inclusive Victorian bay windows overlooking the expanse of English gardens.

We met a young couple from Nigeria with a simple brief: provide a turn-key , colourful design where we can walk in and feel cosy, and create a place we vacation to and call our second home.

We wanted to create a blend of modern and traditional African art and bold colours mixed into one space. With both original and new designer pieces that originate from Africa to Europe. This unique space blends colours, materials, rough, smooth, light and darks together with hints of mid-century modern pieces, organic geometries and hand carved African relics.
