Makris for Korian: quality at the service of well-being

Respect for the individual and listening to one's needs are the hallmarks of the Korian Group, the European leader in personal care and assistance services. In line with this quality policy, Makris has taken care of the lighting of the Sant'Andrea retirement home in Monza with a project that takes into account not only the design but also the needs of the guests of the residence. Key points: more light, less glare, a welcoming atmosphere.

The illuminated areas are those of the common areas, such as the multipurpose hall and the restaurant, where guests spend many hours of the day. The choice was therefore made for the Tita and Spektre products, circular LED lamps ideal for homogeneous lighting, with a soft distribution that helps to keep the eyes from getting tired. Particular attention is also paid to passageways where the light must avoid areas of shadow that may be confusing. Here, too, a diffused light was chosen. The colour temperature chosen is the one closest to natural light. Dimmable luminaires were used to adjust the light to actual needs while saving energy.
