‘‘Framing the view’’ was the core of the parti that led to the design. Starting from a simple
axis, a glass enclosure is added at one end, with the other end left open. Layers of materiality
are added afterwards: wooden arches form a shell that is both open and closed at the same
time, water added around it to temper it, and stone to finalize the framing. Fabric coverings
are added around the design, forming open social spaces for the community. Light is the
final element, bathing the interior through the wooden arches, which are placed at varying
intervals.
