EXUP | Linea Light Group

A Perugia-based integrated design firm, EXUP conceived and built its headquarters playing on minimalism and subtraction. The planimetric and volumetric layout, featuring first and foremost a modular core, rises up monolithic over the landscape, lightened by the sunshades at various angles and essential architectural lighting by Linea Light Group.
This brings out the vocation and passion of EXUP in every detail of the new building, representing the corporate mission perfectly.

LIGHTNESS AND DEPTH IN ARCHITECTURAL VOLUME
To best highlight the EXUP design, Linea Light Group sets up the lighting primarily outdoors. There are two applications: on the building and on the surrounding lawn area. The selection of technical products followed the purpose of the building naturally, creating a dialogue between the structure and the surrounding environment.

Describing the façade of the building first of all, we find lighting provided by various Linea Light Group products. Spectacularly defining the large windows, Vedette is applied with the optics facing downward. A minimal-design sconce with contained volume, it creates interesting light play with a visual impact intended to highlight the geometries of the external openings. A resin body and powerLed optics make it the ideal outdoor product. Continuing on toward the entrance, we see Portik, an essential-design light fixture that bathes the entrance in even and soft lighting, thanks to the reflector with F.O.L.™ filters system. Also on the outside, we find Orma, small in size but high performance in terms of lighting output. Boasting technical features that make this uplight a unique must-have for the outdoors, its major benefits include physical resistance, a high grade of protection and outstanding light emission control, thanks to the dedicated accessories. Particularly important in giving the entrance and outdoor green area character was the use of Dirigo and Peak Maxi L. A linear element with balanced and indirect emission, Dirigo guides the visitor toward the building entrance, integrating perfectly with the surrounding environment. As a corollary element, in order to create uniform light paths coordinated with the outdoor spaces, Peak Maxi L was positioned. This lamp post provides a convenient source of light at the surrounding perimeter and the parking area, outlining the entire area around EXUP.
