In this project I turned one idea into three designs. Three different and at the same time similar light fixtures.
It is working prototype of the lightning. Main idea was - simplicity. Both visual and production. So simple, that I made it in my garage.
So, why is the half pipe? Because, it’s really made of pvc half pipe.
Design of this lamp is about interaction of simple geometric shapes and how they can work together.
Clean and strict minimalistic form was inspired by russian avangard and suprematism. Simple in production, design allows to create many color and material combinations. Originally was created from half of a pvc pipe. But it also can be make from or with using of metal (cooper, brass, steel, aluminium) glass and stone.
