History:
Ghafouri residential house have been located in Navab Safavi Street, Eidgah Neighborhoud which was built about 100 years ago and belongs to the Qajar Era.
According to the current owner’s remarks, there is no certain information about constructor and the exact time of construction. However, people in locality have stated that this house was constructed by Jews. It was used until 1981, and was abandoned for almost 18 years. Now it is owned by the Municipality.

Design:
The Ghafouri house is located near Imam Reza Holy Shrine which is the most popular tourist attraction in Mashhad, and a lot of pilgrims and foreign visitors especially Arabs go there during the day.
Care of their children and entertaining them are the most important problems which the pilgrims should deal with. In terms of these issues, we decided to turn the project into youth center for both Arabs' and Iranians' children to be cared and entertained educationally, so they learn more and improve their social life.
