PARLA! part of INTERNI HUMAN SPACES, Fuori Salone 2019 | Buzzi & Buzzi

Buzzi & Buzzi, a leading company in the lighting industry based in Lombardy, is protagonist of several locations with a light that combines aesthetics and technology during FuoriSalone 2019, which from April 8 to 14 will make the city of Milan the venue for meetings and exclusive events to celebrate design in all its shapes, and of the INTERNI HUMAN SPACES exhibition. The project Parla! - realised by Furrer and designed by Marcio Kogan’s studio mk27 in collaboration with the architect Filippo Bricolo - lights up thanks to Buzzi & Buzzi’s solutions that shape light in order to give life to concepts that go beyond simple design.

The installation Parla!, located inside Università degli Studi of Milan (Via Festa del Perdono, 7), headquarter of the INTERNI HUMAN SPACES exhibition, recreates the concept of conviviality. With the Parla! table, 10 meters long and made in refined Statuarietto marble by the Furrer company from Carrara, the project becomes a symbol of encounter. Not a simple design piece of furniture, but an invitation to live an original convivium: the mk27 studio, together with the architect Filippo Bricolo, offer visitors a shared experience to celebrate the biggest expressions of civility: the word and food. Buzzi & Buzzi exploits its know-how to illuminate the installation, combining the efficient performance of the lighting solutions with a signature, minimal and sophisticated design.

To create the luminous frame for Parla!, Buzzi & Buzzi picks two iconic products, already known to the public in the sector. Valo and Funnel, together, generate solid light beams that envelop the installation in a welcoming and harmonious atmosphere.

Funnel, an indoor pendent luminaire with body in AirCoral®, an exclusive material of the brand, known for its eco-active, anti-polluting, anti-bacterial and photocatalytic features, illuminates the table from above. This funnel of direct light, characterized by a clean but refined design, creates a contemporary appeal, enhancing spaces with a performing light.

On the other hand, Valo, a little frosted glass cube, conquers with its twofold essence: on one side, a compact and performing luminous cube, on the other an object of design. Designed as an indoor / outdoor floor luminaire with an IP65 protection grade, it is made in DurCoral®, an exclusive material of the brand, capable of offering high performance in terms of capacity and strength. Valo is able to enhance spaces with discretion, creating sets with unique style.

Buzzi & Buzzi, a renowned company in the lighting industry, has been working together with well-known architects for a long time, recognising the important role of differentiation in design. The installation designed by Marcio Kogan for Furrer at FuoriSalone 2019 becomes one of the spaces in which Buzzi & Buzzi expresses its technique and design, giving life to new concepts of light.
