A small museum full of masterpieces and illuminated by Linea Light Group where Lucio Fontana, Emilio Vedova and Tancredi are just some of the great names brought to light in this location.

PROFESSIONAL LIGHTS TO ILLUMINATE THE WORKS OF ART

Hosted in a completely renovated space in Palazzo Pellegrini, not far from Piazza delle Erbe, the exhibit entitled “Un nuovo gesto, una nuova materia” (A new gesture, a new material), curated by Luca Massimo Barbero, saw the light thanks to the Linea Light Group museum lighting project.

The Foundation selected a few Italian post-war works from the Collection in a project aimed at a cultural and artistic sharing open to the public, where families with children are involved. The purpose of our intervention was to light the works on display in the museum, using a precise light capable of focusing on every detail and colour on the canvases. In the same way, a more diffused light illuminates the rest of the room during the meetings and conferences organised for the public. The dual nature of the location is thereby highlighted with the right lighting and intensity.

The products selected for the project are extremely high performance in terms of colour rendering thanks to the new Fidelty diode with CRI98 and very high TM30 values. The purpose of the selected lighting is to highlight in a soft and almost theatrical way, and with quality, the canvases exhibited in the room.

The selected products: Iris_T and Pound are both perfect for museum lighting thanks, not only to the high colour rendering, but also the the extreme versatility with the possibility of different apertures of the optics. The aim of the lighting project is to meet the various needs of the space. In fact, on one hand, we have the need to light the individual works on display, very different from one another in size and lighting needs, whereas on the other, we need to light the museum environment, creating the right atmosphere during times of sharing such as meetings and conferences.

Iris_T, is a three-phase binary spotlight perfect for any museum type lighting thanks to the extremely high colour rendering. The graduated focus-on-board ring nut with various apertures of the optics allowed the right quantity of light to be provided for the works, dimmable on the single light and adjusted thanks to the dim-on-board mechanism. Lastly, the crisp and high quality light is guaranteed by the arrayLED source that allows for optimum colour rendering.

For the room lighting, on the other hand, Pound was chosen: a highly versatile three-phase binary spotlight thanks to the arrayLED source and the different apertures of the installed optics, it provides optimum lighting in the room which contains a small, but significant piece of Italian art history.
