Come back to Itaca è il viaggio di ritorno verso casa da compiere attraverso un percorso fisico e mentale. Con la forma archetipica dell’inclusione il giardino protegge e custodisce un intimo segreto che si lascerà svelare soltanto dal viaggiatore più temerario. Come per Ulisse anche per il visitatore, il viaggio sarà la vera fonte di arricchimento. Il tema della produzione viene infatti affrontato attraverso due chiavi di lettura. Se da una parte, avvicinandosi al centro, il visitatore osserverà un incremento della produzione vegetativa nei pressi dell’elemento acqua, dall’altra si arricchirà di pensieri e riflessioni compiendo un’esperienza sensoriale introspettiva. Alla fine del percorso il visitatore si ritroverà su un terreno arido, trasformato dalla saja e dalle conoscenze raccolte durante il viaggio.

Come back to Itaca is a trip back home through both a physical and a mental journey. Through the archetypal figure of the inclusion, the garden protects and enshrines a secret that only the most fearless travelers will be able to reveal. Just like Ulysses, the visitor will experience this journey as a source of enrichment. The topic of the productivity has two different interpretations: on the one hand, when approaching its centre, the attention of the visitor will be caught by the increase of growing vegetation in the proximity of the water and, on the other hand, their journey will be enriched with thoughts and reflections through an introspective experience of the senses. At the end of this path, the visitor will find themselves on a plot of dry land, modified by the saja and the knowledge gathered during this trip.
