Progetto di riqualificazione di Via ENZO FERRARI IN VIALE ENZO FERRARI a PESCARA

Via Ferrari rappresenta un asse viario di primaria imporanza per la città di Pescara: è ubicata a ridosso della Stazione Ferroviaria di Pescara Centrale.Dalla sua creazione non sono mai state investite risorse per una vera opera di riqualificazione e valorizzazione di questo strategico asse viario. il Progetto punta alla rigenerazione di questo asse viario secondo quattro "idee guida" che agiscono in ambito Ambientale, Architettonico, Storico ed Urbanistico. Infatti saranno messe a dimora circa 220 alberi ad alto fusto per abbattere gli inquinanti e contrastare le bolle di calore e l'inquinamento acustico; pitturazione e valorizzazione estetica dei muraglioni in cemento armato con abbattimento degli inquinanti grazie alla pitturazione fotocatalitica; snellimento del flusso veicolare e ciclo pedonale con la razionalizzazione dell'asse viario ed attraversamento ciclo-pedonale sopraelevato; uffici di coworking e una piazza come centro aggregativo socio-culturale. Inoltre la piazza è pensata per ricevere un monumento dedicato ad Enzo Ferrari, primo pilota a vincere il Trofeo della COPPA ACERBO. Nel progetto della piazza sono stati conservati i Pini, che attualmente, sono posizionati nell'isola spartitraffico delle due carreggiate di via Enzo Ferrari; inoltre saranno piantumate alberature di varie specie a scopo didattico, una fontana a getti verticali all'interno di uno specchio d'acqua a raso con la pavimentazione ed uno spazio di ristoro con struttura in corten, vetro e legno prospiciente il Mercatino Etnico. 

Via Ferrari represents a major road axis for the city of Pescara: it is located close to the Pescara Centrale Railway Station. Since its creation, no resources have ever been invested for a true redevelopment and enhancement of this strategic road network. the Project aims at the regeneration of this road axis according to four "guiding ideas" that act in the Environmental, Architectural, Historical and Urban Planning fields. In fact, around 220 tall trees will be planted to reduce pollutants and counteract heat bubbles and noise pollution; painting and aesthetic enhancement of reinforced concrete walls with the elimination of pollutants thanks to photocatalytic painting; streamlining of the vehicular flow and pedestrian cycle with the rationalization of the road axis and elevated cycle-pedestrian crossing; coworking offices and a square as a socio-cultural aggregation center. The square is also designed to receive a monument dedicated to Enzo Ferrari, the first driver to win the ACERBO CUP Trophy. In the design of the square, the Pines have been preserved, which are currently located on the traffic island of the two carriageways of Via Enzo Ferrari; moreover trees of various species will be planted for educational purposes, a fountain with vertical jets inside a body of water at ground level with the flooring and a refreshment area with structure in corten, glass and wood facing the Ethnic Market.
