The house in the center of the country was built for a family of four children with a total area of 218 square meters.

The designer Erez Hyatt got involved right from the beginning, at a stage when the tenants wanted to change the existing design to fit their needs and also to combine design at the highest and most accurate level.

The flooring of the house has a smoothed concrete that continues on the staircase and creates a narrative sequence of space. The action of opening the door reveals a long public space, in which the various functions are located in one row after another - first the kitchen, then the dining area with an exit to the patio, and at the end a spacious living room that faces the garden.

The new kitchen is designed as parallel and creates airiness in space by combining a high wall of cabinets from which there is no handle in order to have a clean look. Planted with refrigerator, work surface, and storage space, all hidden behind a gray front metal texture.

Opposite the tall unit stands a black island covered with a patterned granite surface with independent stove units. The island and the cupboards look like they have a dialogue between them because of the repeated appearance of the brass - while on the dark cupboards a brass line has been incorporated to its height, for the island is located at the foot of someone sitting on the airy bar chairs. The brass is used as a decorative element in which the designer chose to decorate the house and thus make it very festive. Above the island, light penetrates through black shutters that add a dramatic touch to the place.

The brass appearance is also repeated above the stairs in the form of a frame for a picture in a marble mirror, illuminated by a brass lighting fixture, which also decorates the rise to the next floor. The staircase is a truly sculptural element, with each step built out of grunge without a panel for a refined look. This is the clean line that was also achieved thanks to iron and glass railings that create a clean and elegant entrance.

Next to the kitchen, the dining area is located, which is framed by gray curtains with six gray chairs, which are turned to an Italian table. It is built with light black legs on which is placed a glass plate that creates depth in the space. Next to it is the living room, with its main theme being the power wall, a central element that returns in every project as a fingerprint of the designer. Its lower part was designed as a buffet with a combed veneer front and above it a black airy niche where the fireplace was planted.

Above it, located the massive part of the wall made of sliding doors on various planes whose opening and closing reveal and conceal the television so that it does not become the core of the house. These doors are painted like the walls and create a rhythm in space thanks to asymmetrical grooves along them. Above them is a black blending grill that repeats the colors of the niche and gives an elegant and floating closing to the entire wall.

The layout of the furniture that observes the power wall is carefully chosen: a gray luxurious sofa creates a sense of space balanced by light green armchairs that combine fabric and leather. In the center of the living room are tables on two different planes that create interest thanks to a cluster of materials and colors of plates that made of brown marble opposite to a black surface. All these sit on a large carpet that defines the living room in black-gray shades and contributes to the colors on the floor dimension.

The lighting in all the space has an important role, from the designer's attitude to the ceiling as a design dimension: a longitudinal lighting line begins in the kitchen and ends at the exit to the garden, thus tying all the functions on the floor. Next to it is a short magnetic lighting strip that is designed to define the living room only, with an additional longitudinal line that defines the power wall. In the gap formed by the longitudinal lines, a round-spot lightings game is played in order to illuminate specific areas on the one hand and to produce a mass of illumination on the other. And not only the lighting distinguishes the ceiling, but also its white color that stands in front of the hue of the house walls highlights its presence.

For the use of the guests, a black sanitary bathroom was also planned on that floor for which was chosen as the continuous line of the public floor. The concrete floor also climbs the walls, as black iron furniture combined with a backlit mirror creates a drama that can not be ignored.
