The Kape Showroom | SUPERFUTUREDESIGN*

ENG - The Kape, a new brand in the female fashion scene, has chosen Buzzi & Buzzi, a leading company in the lighting industry for retail, for the lighting of its new showroom at the Dubai Design District, the city’s nerve center in the field of design. Designer and creator of the concept of the showroom is SUPERFUTUREDESIGN*, an Italian architects’ studio which has chosen Dubai as the operational headquarter in the Middle East.

The project has been a real challenge aiming to meet the needs of the brand. The showroom perfectly recalls the style of SUPERFUTUREDESIGN*, characterized by a certain expressiveness in the choices of furniture and a certain minimalism. The resulting space is an extremely relaxing environment where the elements are balanced in order to calm the mind and enhance the senses. The environment is completed by sofas, hanging bars and a chaotic dressing room, made with champagne - colored metal screens.

A paradise for shopping where light plays a central role to highlight the materials used, the epoxy resin with a uniform look and the typical veins of travertine stone. But not only that, the choice for products by Buzzi & Buzzi’s is also aimed at the personalized lighting of the displayed products and the different areas of the showroom. It is no coincidence that the selected products belong to two specific categories for the contract and retail sectors. In fact, their main feature is the possibility of directing the light beam at one’s own choice to enhance the product and not to disturb the customer with too much light.
First of all, Q2, track projector of the Iron line. Born from a large number of requests for custom metal products, the line is the expression of the need to combine technological research and aesthetics in hi-tech projects where the mechanical component is accentuated, without neglecting a certain attention to elegance and simplicity. The Q2 in its version for three-phase track has a retractable directional arm and uses different optics thus creating a perfect synergy between functionality and design. The product Rhino completes the luminous atmosphere, belonging to the Basic line, designed to meet the needs of the contract world in terms of design with a series of devices aimed at optimizing production processes without quantitative and qualitative constraints. 
Rhino is equipped with a projector available in two colors (white or black), 360° adjustable, customizable with different optics (22° and 50°) and different led colours (2700K, 3000K, 4000K). The projector can be placed completely recessed, medium recessed or completely extruded from its recessed housing thanks to the rear magnets.

Balance and harmony are therefore the keywords to describe the new Kape Showroom in Dubai where the lighting by Buzzi & Buzzi contributes to the creation of a comfortable environment for an unforgettable shopping experience.

ITA - The Kape, nuovo brand sulla scena della moda femminile, ha scelto Buzzi & Buzzi, azienda leader nel settore illuminotecnico per il retail, per l’illuminazione del suo showroom al Dubai Design District, centro nevralgico della città nell’ambito del design. Progettista e ideatore del concept dello showroom è SUPERFUTUREDESIGN*, studio di architetti italiano che ha scelto Dubai come headquarter operativo nel pieno Medio Oriente.

Il progetto è stata una vera e propria sfida per cercare di incontrare le esigenze del brand. Lo showroom richiama alla lettera lo stile di SUPERFUTUREDESIGN*, caratterizzato da una certa espressività nelle scelte dell’arredamento e da un certo minimalismo. Lo spazio che ne deriva è un ambiente estremamente rilassante dove gli elementi sono bilanciati allo scopo di calmare la mente e esaltare i sensi. Completano l’ambiente divani, barre sospese e un camerino caotico, realizzato con paraventi metallici dalle tinte color champagne.

Un paradiso per lo shopping dove la luce gioca un ruolo centrale per evidenziare i materiali utilizzati, la resina epossidica dall’aspetto uniforme e le venature tipiche della pietra di travertino. Ma non solo, la scelta dei prodotti Buzzi & Buzzi è volta anche all’illuminazione personalizzata dei prodotti esposti e alle varie zone dello showroom. Non a caso i prodotti selezionati appartengono a due categorie specifiche per l’ambito del contract e del retail. La loro caratteristica principale, infatti, è la possibilità di direzionare il fascio di luce a propria scelta per valorizzare il prodotto e non disturbare il cliente con una luce troppo ampia.

Primo fra tutti, Q2, proiettore da binario della linea Iron. Nata da un grande numero di richieste di prodotti custom in metallo, la linea è l’espressione della necessità di unire ricerca tecnologica ed estetica in progetti hi-tech dove la componente meccanica è accentuata, senza tralasciare una certa attenzione per l’eleganza e la semplicità. Il Q2 nella sua versione per binario trifase ha un braccio a scomparsa direzionabile e utilizza diverse ottiche creando così una perfetta sinergia tra funzionalità e design. Completa l’atmosfera luminosa il prodotto Rhino, della linea Basic, pensata per incontrare le esigenze del mondo contract a livello progettuale con una serie di apparecchi volti all’ottimizzazione dei processi produttivi senza vincoli quantitativi e qualitativi. Rhino monta un proiettore disponibile in due colorazioni (bianco o nero), orientabile a 360°, personalizzabile con diverse ottiche (22° e 50°) e diverse colorazioni led (2700K, 3000K, 4000K). Il proiettore può essere posizionato completamente recesso, medio recesso o completamente estruso dal suo incasso grazie a dei magneti posteriori.

Equilibrio e armonia sono quindi le parole chiave per descrivere il nuovo The Kape Showroom di Dubai dove la luce di Buzzi & Buzzi concorre alla creazione di un ambiente confortevole per un’esperienza di shopping da non dimenticare.
