The presented idea for the Sommer Pavilion 2018 - under the theme “Water” begins with the solution of not using  this natural element in the project, but reimagines it through the exploration of different materials and experiences of interaction with the environment.

The circular geometry of the structure arises from the articulation with the main acesses of the garden, allowing a fluid circulation through it's original paths and maintaining the commitment not to distort exisitng elements and needs of use.

The lightness and transparency of the water is exploited through floating planes and a dense "sea" of ribbons that, due to their texture and composition create dark light sets giving the illusion of the sunlight reflecting in water.

With these premises we see the opportunity to create an architectural installation whose presence in space aims to lead to an purely sensitive experience, encouraging visitors to explore the public space and offering an unexpected and memorable interaction with the garden.
