New site, new open-space in the Vitol Group Riga headquarters. A company of Dutch origin, it manages energy flows on a global level, moving loose material from the source to the customer in the quickest, most responsible and most affordable way. Thanks to their expansion in recent years, the need for a new site had become increasingly clear, culminating in this project.

NEW SKY VIEW FLOORS
The design of this office aesthetically reveals subtle details and ingenious solutions. An open-office area designed with a rationalisation of the facilities based on their use in order to guarantee exposure to sunlight, especially in the executive area. In fact, the work stations are located close to the windows along the outer walls of the building in order to take full advantage of the daylight. The work area is done in neutral shades, whereas the common areas are richer in colours and furnishings. Great attention was placed on acoustics: the walls in the common areas were covered with acoustic panels and for the meeting rooms, soundproof felt was used. This results in a Nordic approach, deeply characterised by attention to the psychological and physical well-being of the employees, in the selection of both materials and colours. 1,200 square metres of modern offices, elegant and functional, with the goal of creating all the aspects of a quality environment in order to guarantee comfort in the workplace.

Classic and expressive interiors without losing any intimacy and functionality. These are the guidelines of the new Latvian Shipping Company, on the eighth floor of the Place Eleven centre in Riga. Everything was studied to allow the employees to work in the best possible way: ergonomic tables, seats, pleasant environments, high quality materials, acoustics capable of having an impact on the office atmosphere in general. All illuminated skilfully by the Angular LED floodlight complete with three-phase tracks. The architect was looking for hints of light to be directed based on the needs of the customer in order to enhance a few details of the office. To meet this request, we proposed the Angular floodlight that met the exact demands of the architect and the customer.
