Private house designed by Erez Hyatt

In a house in Rishon LeZion that was designed by Erez Hyatt, there is a wonderful symmetry that is combined with minimalist lines and is responsible for the sense of luxury that simultaneously creates a warm and embracing home. The house covers a built-up area of 320 square meters, where a family of four lives, surrounded by a spectacular vegetation. Its public space is narrow and long, and as a result, a layout of furniture was designed for him, which included a decision to give-up the dining spot And place the kitchen vertically into the sofa to produce a flowing rhythm. In this way, the kitchen hides the stairs and also creates harmony in the entire space because of its colors. Its facades are made of veneer, in a color that is the result of long research by the designer to reach the maximum accuracy he sought. While the wood brings the warmth and naturalness into space, the black color makes it contemporary, appearing in touches on the countertop, shade, faucet, and bar chairs.  The bright accessories that were selected for the island display basic geometry, which presents kind of chaos in the order that was created.

The salon's composition is breaking conventions and relates to its spacious size - its furniture layout is centered on a light-colored sofa designed to be comfortable to sit in front of the television. The rest of the furniture floats and creates airiness to balance the entire space: the two armchairs look like an art piece and create an in-out relation with the pool thanks to the reflection in the stainless steel base on which they sit and because of their blue toning.

At the center of all of these, there's the layout of three tables, which includes a large, leather-trimmed table, topped by a round black table that breaks the lines on the one hand and fits the black wall in front of him, on the other. The designer put a car engine on it in an unconventional design decision that presents a creative alternative to typical living-room bowls. These two tables are accompanied by a wooden side table that hints to the kitchen material, thus creating a connection between the two functions. All of these sit on a huge gray carpet that serves as a dramatic surface just like the power wall next to it.

This wall is the main motif in the living room, as well as the designer's fingerprint, which is repeated in every project and receives a different interpretation in each home thanks to size, textures, materials and different shades.

In this house the wall combines wood and marble: at the top, gray MDF in various plains and thicknesses with vertical lines that create interest. This part floats and is used to store and hide the systems of the fireplace that sits in the lower part, and is covered with a dramatic Dekton like a kitchen countertop.

The soft white curtains surrounding the house emphasize this element, and continue in a direct line the white storage cabinet at the entrance, which also features the vertical lines that correspond to the TV wall on the one hand, and emphasize the height of space on the other. Between this closet and the living-room curtain hangs a picture of Japanese art that breaks the bright sequence and creates harmony with the coral on the main table.

Above all the space lighting was installed, lighting that serves as an element that emphasizes the lengths of the house, and draws a continuous line from start to finish along with the air-conditioning port which is parallel to it. The lighting strips are accompanied by round sunken clusters that define the kitchen island and are located in the living room at neutral points that do not compete with the strong elements of the space. A great deal of thought was also devoted to choosing the garden furniture so that it would continue the character of the house and create a strong inner-outer relation.

This goal was achieved thanks to the use of furniture that repeats both the colors inside the house and on the longitudinal lines in the carpentry so that these repetitions create one whole larger than the sum of its parts.
