Renaissance pragmatism in present evolution
In the constant dispersion of focus in teacher-student training, Raffles defines a new asset in the world of education: a training proposal in continuous dialogue with the territorial employment structure. The only Italian site chosen, and not by chance, is Milan: a dynamic centre par excellence and culture recognised on an international level.

Milan corners programmatic training proposals to chisel out a 3000 m2 building on Via Casati entirely dedicated to experimentation. A hybrid and layered location, reminiscent of a human dimension in which the master-pupil relationship was and is once again, charged with creative juices. The fields range from fashion to product all the way to visual design.

A comprehensive collaboration with Alter Partner Studio has allowed Linea Light Group to have a true lighting technique discourse in the first Italian Raffles site. Essential in mapping the locations, understanding the various needs and the different use of light by the users.

Gypsum and Tablet mark the space with their presence, connecting the various common environments. A soft personality for the treadable and connecting areas, capable of overcoming, where not possible, the installation of ceiling lights. With minimal elegance, the reception and the hall are adorned with Pool, flaunting a subtle concentric decorative aspect. Remaining in the hall, Batons of various shapes and sizes, clinging to one another in thin wire compositions, enhance the stairway that connects the surrounding environment.

Moving toward the meeting room and the desks area, off-centre crosses of Tour guarantee, on the other hand, wide range uniformity thanks to the opaline diffuser with internal power supply for SMD LED lighting source. We return to a geometrical linearity veering toward the rooms with a triple selection of products. Shore, Outline and Fylo. The first chosen for the combinations provided by the light effects, the second for the arrangement possibilities and the latter for the decorative effect and for the utility in the event of video projection. For the laboratories, on the other hand, topLED source thanks to the round ceiling lights from the Square family. In the display spaces reserved for exhibits and reviews, the desire was expressed to position Angular, just like in Linea Light Group projects for large art patrons. The three phase track projector with LED array is very versatile, thanks to a tilting movement that reaches 45°, providing light in a simple and efficient way. Last but not least, the outdoors. LED strip profiles on the windows, Suelo for the vertical lighting, Mini-Outline for the stairs and My White ceiling fixtures for the unloading/loading area. A massive project, to highlight the designers of tomorrow.
