Engagée dans la transformation de son espace de travail en un lieu de vie et de partage, Korus, une entreprise familiale dauphinoise qui prend soin de ses collaborateurs, repense son efficacité collaborative, établit les nouveaux paradigmes du travailler ensemble.
En février 2017, sur la base d’un cahier des charges développé en ateliers par la communauté Korus, définissant les ambitions du projet, le positionnement stylistique et conceptuel ainsi que l’emplacement des différentes typologies d’espaces, Lautrefabrique Architectes développe les idées des collaborateurs tout en s’affranchissant des nombreuses contraintes techniques du bâtiment.
Auparavant dispersée dans un bâtiment tout en longueur sur 2 étages, Korus souhaite investir son ancien hangar de stockage pour rassembler ses collaborateurs dans de nouveaux espaces propices à l’épanouissement et la créativité de ses salariés tout en faisant de son siège social la vitrine de son savoir-faire : l’aménagement d’espaces tertiaires.
Le projet doit avant-tout répondre aux quatre enjeux majeurs suivants :
• Concevoir des espaces de travail innovants, modulables, flexibles, ouverts et partagés,
• Faire évoluer la culture d’entreprise de Korus en stimulant la créativité, en développant la fierté d’appartenance des collaborateurs, en favorisant la cohésion et le bien-être des équipes,
• Créer une dynamique de partage et d’exemplarité, une expérience de la marque Korus avec les visiteurs, clients et partenaires en faisant de ce lieu un showroom vivant du savoir-faire du groupe,
• Valoriser le patrimoine du bâtiment en pensant recyclabilité, économies d’énergie et valeur d’usage dès la conception.
Grâce au travail réalisé en amont par les volontaires de Korus, Lautrefabrique bénéficie d’un outil de programmation inédit, réduisant considérablement l’importance des discussions en amont sans lesquelles un projet ne peut pas trouver sa vérité. Les images à priori de l’ensemble des ambiances, teintes et mobiliers ayant été clairement arrêtés, les architectes s’emploient à révéler et mettre en scène les valeurs terriennes revendiquées par Korus, telles que nature et authenticité par un ancrage dauphinois du projet que ce soit dans l’utilisation d’un registre formel reprenant les claires-voies des séchoirs agricoles du territoire ou bien en recourant aux teintes des bâtiments en pisé de la vallée ou des forêts environnantes. En démontrant que la réutilisation et la réhabilitation de bâtiments existants, le recyclage de certains de leurs éléments, sont une alternative probante à la démolition re-construction, les architectes entendent s’inscrire dans un cercle vertueux éco-responsable.
”Jouet” d’une grande communauté le projet Korus longtemps fantasmé prend enfin corps. Les maïeuticiens de Lautrefabrique s’emploient à solutionner et concrétiser la profusion de désirs issus du cahier des charges collaborative. La création d’une maquette numérique détaillée, qui au fur et à mesure des validations du comité de pilotage bi-mensuel, s’enrichit des propositions des architectes jusqu’à devenir un fichier BIMX, permettant à chacun de se balader virtuellement dans son futur espace de travail depuis une tablette ou son PC.

RESTRUCTURING THE HEADQUARTERS OF KORUS
Committed to the transformation of its workspace into a place of living and sharing, Korus, a Dauphinoise family business that cares for its employees, has rethought its collaborative effectiveness, establishing new paradigms for working together.
In February 2017, based on a set of specifications developed in workshops by the Korus community, defining the parameters of the project, the stylistic and conceptual positioning as well as the juxtaposition of the various spaces, Lautrefabrique Architects developed the employees’ ideas while overcoming the many technical constraints of the building.
Previously spread over a two-storey building, Korus now wishes to develop its former storage warehouse to bring its employees into new spaces conducive to their development and creativity while making its head office the showcase of its expertise: the development of commercial spaces.
The project must first and foremost fulfil the following four main criteria:
• To design innovative, flexible, adaptable, open and shared workspaces,
• To evolve Korus’ corporate culture by stimulating creativity, by developing employees’ pride in belonging, by promoting team cohesion and well-being,
• To create a sharing and exemplary dynamic, an experience of the Korus brand with visitors, customers and partners by making this place a living showroom of the group’s expertise,
• To enhance building heritage by taking into consideration recyclability, energy saving and use value from the design stage.
Thanks to the preliminary work done by Korus volunteers, Lautrefabrique has benefited from an unprecedented programming tool, considerably reducing the necessity of the preliminary discussions without which a project cannot be truly realised. The preliminary mood boards for colour schemes and furniture having been clearly decided, the architects worked to reveal and stage-manage the values of the land claimed by Korus. Nature and authenticity are anchored in a project of Dauphinois tradition, whether in the use of a formal register taking the skylights of agricultural dryers of the region or by using to the colours of adobe buildings in the valley or surrounding forests. By demonstrating that the reuse and renovation of existing buildings, the recycling of some of their elements, are a convincing alternative to demolition and re-construction, the architects intend to be part of a virtuous circle of ecological responsibility
The “play thing”of a large community, the fantasy of the Korus project has finally taken shape. The Lautrefabrique midwives have worked to deliver and bring together the profusion of desires from collaborative design process. The creation of a detailed digital model, validated by the bi-monthly steering committee, has enriched the architects’ proposals until becoming a BIMX file, which allows everyone to wander virtually around their future workspace from a tablet or PC.
