Mons Cheesemongers is located on Lordship Lane, a prominent food destination in South East London. Mons import traditionally made cheeses from France & Switzerland, ripened in the cellars at St Haon le Chatel. Fraher focused on the internal spacial layout and shop front. The design approach utilizes sympathetic materials which reflect traditional maturing rooms.
Trestles London designed and fabricated all fitted and free standing furniture, creating a unique retail display. The semi porous concreate floor enables the correct moisture level for storing hard cheeses, allowing them to show at their best.
Fraher provided a full RIBA service.
