New waste-to-energy plant serving the city of Rzeszow, with a total value of 70 million EUR. TME  Spa has obtained, in a consortium with Astaldi SpA of Rome, the tender for the design and construction on behalf of PGE Gornictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonaina SA, a company belonging to the PGE group, the largest Polish producer and distributor of electricity. 


Line with a potential of 100,000 tons per year of urban waste, capable of generating an electrical power of about 8 MW (Mega Watt), which corresponds to an electricity production of approximately 64,000 MWh / year (Mega Watt per year), thus able to meet the needs of about 32,000 families. to introduce heat into the local district heating network that will be able to provide citizens with approximately 17 MW of heat, sufficient to cover the heating needs of around 2,000 families.
