The apartment was purchased in concept of shell and core. The original loft space has been newly refurbished to a modest 45m2 flat. It was a complexed reconstruction, which allowed us to define every tiny detail of the apartment. We have tried to use and take the advantage of the this little space in as most effective way as it could be.The apartment space is solved as 2kk which means 1 separate bedroom with the living room connected with the kitchen. The area of the original hall was connected with the living room that allowed us to maximize the living room area. We have created a dominant wooden beams, which we have enclosed in the joinery to create a central point of the whole apartment where kitchen island with cooking area are situated. On the other side you will find a washing area, technical cabinet with boiler and a built-in fridge. Everything is connected to one compact wall. You will also find in the living room with a dominative TV wall which is tiled with bricks and an open library under the windows. The living room with a kitchenette switch a vestibule with an integrated shoe cabinet and one brick wall with stylish wooden hangers. There are also bathroom with the shower and bedroom there. You will not find the photos of the bedroom because it is currently not finished due to financial reasons. Considering the material solution, the entire interior is matched into a combination of white and black. The white areas are varnished with MDF (medium density fiberboard) and the wood is seen as oak veneer. The floor's material is a laminate imitating oak wooden floor supplied by SPO manufacture. The bathroom is being completely beyond the rest of the apartment in its dark color. We were not afraid of the dark even though it is the smallest room in the apartment with no windows. The dark Caesar tiles in combination with LED straps create a pleasant wellness feel and a good place to relax. I am not a big fan of chrome and chrome surface so you would hardly find these materials in the bathroom. We used also black sanitary. The complete supply was arranged in cooperation with Keramika Soukup Company. The concrete sink is from Gravelli Company.
As I am a fan of Czech designed furniture, the apartment is equipped with Czech furniture manufacturers only. For example, you can find there Ton Oak chairs, a massive Situs table and a beautiful Bomma crystal light. Mobau doors with transversal veneer are decorated with cranks which are made by Czech company M & T.
