The slim, vertical building rises from the sloping terrain before advancing towards the lake at one of its corners. On the slope side, the volume is extended by a small section that sheers off from the volume, containing the car lift. Access to the building is provided by the incision in the volume this creates, thereby locating the entrance area volumetrically. The single-storey apartments are organised by a corridor with functional layers on both sides. As is visual from the outside, the spatial experience culminates in the living area, which is orientated towards the broad view of the lake and ends with a balcony.
