"CASA SIMIONI"

FORESTA MODERNA

Luci e forme della natura entrano in casa,
convivono armoniosamente con l’ambiente costruito e l’abitare contemporaneo.

Due colonne scolpite e slanciate che si aprono leggere verso l’alto, in perenne movimento. Sono loro ad accogliere il visitatore, citando volutamente le forme di due alberi. Varcando la soglia di questa dimora moderna ed essenziale, si percepisce subito la volontà progettuale degli interni: riempire di fascino minimale un’architettura spontanea e animata, che chiede continuamente in prestito alla natura forme e materiali, luci e ritmi del tempo. Nulla è artefatto, tutto è sorprendentemente spontaneo, naturale. Ad affascinare è soprattutto il percorso di ricerca e commistione tra geometria e sensualità della linea curva. Quest’ultima, in particolare, è stata scelta e chiamata in causa dall’interior design per regalare movimento, disegnando ora lo sviluppo di alcune pareti e soffitti, ora la scala interna e i suoi gradini sfalsati, non ultime le “radici” di una metafisica mangrovia che, scendendo libere dal soffitto, danno vita al selvaggio reticolo del corrimano.

Il non colore del bianco è assolutamente voluto e inonda tutte le stanze, spezzato solo dagli accenti caldi delle venature del legno che percorrono sinuose alcune zone della casa. Il resto è affidato solo all’inventiva quotidiana e ciclica della luce naturale che entra copiosa dalle finestre. Tra ombra e sole, Casa Simioni diventa ogni giorno una sequenza vibrante, un “teatro” dove vanno in scena, a seconda delle diverse ore della giornata, giochi di luce e riflessi cangianti che comunicano, alternandole, sensazioni di densità e profondità, oscurità e visibilità, fisicità piena e vuota, leggerezza.

A MODERN FOREST

The light and shapes of nature enter the home, occupying the constructed environment and contemporary living in a harmonious manner.
Two slender, sculpted columns open lightly upwards, in perpetual movement. They purposely resemble two trees, as they welcome visitors. When you cross the threshold of this modern and essential home, you immediately perceive the purposeful interior design: full of the minimalist charm of spontaneous and animated architecture, which continually borrows forms and materials, light, rhythm and time, from nature. Nothing is an artifice; everything is surprisingly spontaneous and natural. It is mostly the path of research and the mixing of geometry and the sensuality of the curve that fascinates the observer. The curved lines, in particular, were chosen and utilised by the interior designer to confer movement, following the development of some walls and ceilings, the interior staircase and its staggered steps, or the “roots” of a metaphysical mangrove, which descend freely from the ceiling, giving life to the wild network of the banister.
The non-colour of white is an effective element of the design and floods all the rooms, broken only by the warm accents of the grain of the wood that runs sinuously along several areas of the home. The rest is entrusted only to the daily and cyclic inventiveness of natural light, which floods through the windows. Between shadows and sun, “The Simioni Home” becomes a vibrating sequence every day, a “theatre”, where the play of light and candid reflections are on stage, depending on the hour of day, which communicate and alternate sensations of density and depth, darkness and visibility, full physical consistency, emptiness and lightness.
