SCOPE Architects from Stuttgart transformed the headquater of the public utility company in Karlsruhe from 1977 into a future-oriented workplace. Additionally it was expanded by a modern roof super-structure.
The roof super-structure made of steel hosts a meeting room, an event hall and a detached small kitchen. The existing building was energetically refurbished and given a new space concept, working with room-in-room modules, that create places of retreat for focused working.
