The Mirror of Energies is the first decentralized thermal energy storage tank constructed in collaboration with Dalkia, an expert in energy efficient technologies. Located on the western edge of France, it was designed to manage the seasonal demand of heat by the UBO and channel the unused heat to other residential neighbourhoods. Its helical form is inspired by the thermodynamic cycle in EXYD metal cladding, both durable and low maintenance. This mix of architecture, contemporary art and sustainable technology build a story to the space and reflect on how we connect with the environment.
