This entrance hall has been required by a couple of art lovers within the refurbishment of their newly purchased 1980s detached house. Into a double height space of cubic proportions (7m side) a thick white painted wall covers the main staircase and allows to locate one of the owners favourite painting. The partially glazed balustrade of the balcony above allows the first floor windows to work as ‘hidden’ sources of natural light for the space and the artwork.
