A new build house located on a deserted beach on the sparsely populated island of North Caicos, in the British West Indies. Individual pavilions are linked by an elliptical timber walkway set back from the beach and amongst the indigenous tropical dry-forest vegetation. The building plan is generated by a 1.2m timber panel module providing enclosure, natural ventilation and bug screening. Glazing is eliminated as an enclosing element. The curved roof form is supported by laminated timber beams cantilevered from the concrete core. Rainwater is collected by 1.5m diameter free-standing hoppers that resemble an asymmetrical martini glass
