Égalité | Vudafieri Saverino Partners

Il progetto per Égalité mette in scena il savoir-faire della tradizione boulangère francese. 
Il design combina elementi da panetteria anni ’50 e materiali che raccontano in modo iroconico i simboli delle boulangerie e dei café parigini: con l’esagerato banco del bar in zinco e l’iconografia in cui re, imperatori, rivoluzionari e contadini fieramente brandiscono una baguette o un croissant.  Il risultato è un locale dalla forte impronta eclettica, moderno e colorato che affronta l’identità francese, prendendosi in giro e giocando con i miti fondativi della cultura popolare.
Il locale si affaccia sulla strada con sette vetrine. Luminoso e intimo al contempo - anche grazie all’originale disposizione in pianta di isole con tavoli piccoli e grandi, alti e bassi, banquette o sgabelli - ha già il sapore di un luogo vissuto: come se da sempre fosse parte del paesaggio di quartiere.

The  project for the boulangerie Égalité shows the savoir-faire of the French boulangre tradition.
The design combines 1950s bakery elements and materials that speak with an amused look at the symbols of the Parisian boulangerie and café: the overthetop zinc bar and the iconography of the French courts and their characters in which kings, emperors, revolutionaries and peasants proudly indulge a baguette or croissant. The result is an eclectic, modern and colourful venue that tackles French identity, teasing and playing with the founding myths of popular culture.
The restaurant faces the street with seven windows.
Bright and intimate at the same time - also thanks to the original layout of islands with small and large, high and low tables, banquettes and stools - it already has the flavour of a lived-in place: as if it had always been part of the neighbourhood landscape.
