The project involves a recovery plan within the framework of the historical downtown area of Albano Laziale. During the technical survey campaign, several Ancient Roman archaeological artefacts were discovered. The building’s area belongs to the ancient military camp of Legio II Parthica. Today, the building is severely compromised from a static point of view and, therefore, partial demolition has been authorized which will be followed by an intense work of static consolidation and of reconstruction of the new building, while maintaining the original architectonical characteristics.
The residential complex will host the realization of 36 flats and 3 commercial premises. Moreover, the building area will provide an exhibition space to show and appreciate the new archaeological site and will include a private parking area for residents.
