This pre-war apartment is located in the Emory Roth designed Ardsley. Its outdated interior was in desperate need of an update. The renovation thoughtfully pays homage to the historic Art Deco details of the building by utilizing a special ceiling molding detail in the living and dining room, highlights the original leaded glass windows, and incorporates artfully selected period piece light fixtures. The custom designed kitchen millwork and the sensitive reworking of the floor plan provides a more open and bright experience. A serene palette was used throughout the home highlighting the client’s extensive collection of art glass and treasures from their world travels.
