Dynamism, sobriety and fun take over Houston's Grill, chef Alberto Ituarte's new gastronomic concept.


The whole concept of the restaurant was devised by Faci Leboreiro around the chef's proposal: a traditional American food restaurant with the sophisticated and creative touch that always distinguishes its restaurants, where the vast portions can be enjoyed in a pleasant environment, with a unmistakable stamp and personality.


That's why we worked with a very characteristic character: the boar. This gives character and style to every corner of the restaurant, always present from the logo and the manteleta to the head placed in the bar.


All the details with the Carl Forssell function, where even uniforms and tableware were designed for the place.


The incredible location of the place inside the Plaza Oasis Coyoacán, a large corner with more than 15 linear meters of front, game of skill with the attractive facade that captures the attention of the potential client: a set of panels of oak wood staves and natural steel plate, on which were placed the funny boar heads, by Amoato Studio, which evoke different characters and emotions.


When approaching, access to the restaurant is accompanied by an impressive 4-meter-high menu, about which the specialties of the place are mentioned. The lobby is the main element of the façade: a latticework of wild boar in gray and amber tones that springs from the ground and unfolds in the wall of the reception, receives the public, becoming a huge lamp where the waiting becomes pleasant and generates curiosity in the user.


Once inside, the feeling of warmth permeates the world: the palette of materials in the apparent brick, copper, wood, steel plate and black and brown marbles accompany the dark tones of the project. Lighting by means of industrial lamps, lamps and other tools that can be used as kitchen blenders for a fun touch to the environment, while the 4 different types of chairs, paneled and denim for a touch of American style in the place.


The bar of the restaurant in black marble accompanies the concept of the place by means of the counter bar made with industrial steel pipe, where the display of antique sports objects creates an ideal atmosphere to enjoy a football game with a good company Beer on tap and BBQ ribs like you've never eaten them.


Houston's Grill is a project where the client's confidence speaks for itself. It was a very fun and dynamic design process, where you can review even the smallest detail with the client and his committed team.


Once again, the design made of theirs, almost doubling the amount of products and raising the average check, proving that every day more people in Mexico are looking for an excellent meal in a space with a clear concept and a defined design.
