Apartment Duplex with Versatile Kitchen | Orly Silber

This Duplex Apartment is designed for a couple with 2 girls. This family apartment had very limited space for a kithchen, therefore it was decided to take the dinning room space and add it to the kithchen. This duplex apartment has huge entertaining space outdoors with two huge balconies and since most of the year there is good weather,  it seemed better to have a kitchen with versatile use. My idea as a designer was to make three tables that all together,  when needed could make a big dinning table. So I have made two variations: one to combine talbles, the other to alternate the height for bar height or regular table height. Two of the tables stay in the kitchen area, while one is a console table behind sofa. I call this thinking out of the box.
