Every two years, Light + Building - the renowned fair dedicated to the lighting world, electricity, home and building automation - welcomes the leading luminary brands to display the excellences of the field.
This year, Buzzi & Buzzi, the Italian leading company in the lighting field, seizes the chance to show its products. At the fair, Buzzi & Buzzi will not go unnoticed thanks to exceptional design, cutting-edge technologies, an eco-friendly commitment and a unique style that combines shapes and minimal but original devices.

In the large stand, which was designed by ASZ Architetti and SUPERFUTUREDESIGN®, Buzzi & Buzzi products find a place that enhances both technological efficiency and design. This space encompasses all the different selections offered by the brand: Recessed, Surface and Outdoor. Particular attention is paid to the materials, the crown jewel of this brand.

In the area dedicated to recessed products, the whole Genius selection and all its variations - a series of totally recessed devices for ceiling installations - will be displayed. The Twin, Square, Black, Dynamic White, Curve and Brass products are all made of AirCoral®, an innovative and eco-friendly material created and exclusively patented by Buzzi & Buzzi. Remarkably, this material is made of aggregates which, by spreading in the air, purify it from harmful components and allergens.
Genius products guarantee the perfect light solution. The light emission hole, which is only 20 mm wide, blends perfectly with the surrounding environments and has a specific push-pull mechanism which makes the LED source easy to replace.

Through its products, Buzzi & Buzzi family satisfies all requirements. The exclusive new product of 2018 will be no exception: Genius Naked, made of aluminium, is a totally recessed ceiling device perfect for indoor environments. Remarkably, this product can be installed on different surfaces such as marble, glass, wood, iron, cement or mirrors and industrial modules. Genius Naked perfectly blends perfectly with the widest range of environments, in a game of surfaces and design.

In the exhibition, Buzzi & Buzzi will also present the brand’s top sellers in a mix of different types of devices: surfaces, ceiling and on rail luminaires, namely, Q1 and Q2, X1 and X2, Zen, ML, DOT 1, 3 and 5 and Funnel Lamp.

The Outdoor lawn area focuses mostly on the new products: Underscore, an outdoor device with IP68 protection grade that provides impeccable mechanical resistance to humidity and external agents, with an harmonious light beam that defines the paths -, and Underline, an in-ground, walkable product, perfect for outdoor environments, with a high IP68 protection grade. Lastly, the exhibition of the Outdoor space ends with Valo IP65, a design, in ground lamp and Bollard, an outdoor, in ground device.
The outdoor products displayed in the exhibition are made of DurCoral®, another patent of the brand; a high-tech material that can be treated with every type of paint and finish. Three times stronger than cement, this material is resistant to abrasions, ultraviolet rays, pollution and weather conditions. Therefore, it is the
perfect material for outdoor spaces. In addition, DurCoral® is also inert to salinity, so it is also suitable for seaside installations.

 Finally, there is a further area dedicated to Surface lighting sources, that consists of evergreen products such as the semi-recessed Leaf and Unleaf, the wall luminaires Yin and Yang, Minivirtus, Blade, Passé; Phantom, of the basic line, the outdoor cube Nuss, both enhanced by Tile - the new IP68 step marker light that can be installed on walls and that is incredibly small, only 20mms thick. Tile is a product that provides perfect resistance and it is ideal for precise and scenographic paths.
