In one of its latest projects, B Light has renovated the interior lighting of the Collegiate Church of Bellinzona, in Switzerland. The church, dedicated to Saints Peter and Stephen, is a Renaissance building with Baroque inserts.
The aim of this project was to enhance the beauty of the monuments, with non-invasive lighting, guaranteeing the preservation of the prestigious works of art in the future.
Originally, the interior lighting used a great number of incandescent spotlights, which not only were highly expensive to maintain and used a lot of electricity, but also damages irreversibly the paintings inside the Collegiate Church. B Light has been chosen for this project as the supplier of a new series of LED luminaires, specifically designed for the lighting requirements of the Collegiata: three custom projectors and a new custom made version of the Linear Tube - a linear luminaire.
