The client contacted us with a request to explore the potential of this steeply sloped lot above Telluride, Colorado. The reverse floor plan with main living areas and decks on the upper level and bedrooms below take full advantage of the topography of the site and the breathtaking mountain views. Traditional Colorado vernacular materials and elements are successfully transformed and incorporated into the modern design concept and symbiosis between old and new is achieved.
