In 2011, we designed and executed a pop-up store for Remírez de Ganuza, located on the Jorge Juan street in Madrid and intended for sale and tasting of the wine´s cellar.

The intervention was executed using the winery’s own elements which are used at the wine’s elaboration process and define the architectonic project. Since the project was an ephemeral intervention, we took advantage of the current situation of the space and exclusively intervened in the exterior part of the store by playing along with the character of the space as well as the elements, wine bottles and corks giving the store privacy as well as allowing the light to travel through the objects.

In the interior of the store which was 26m2, we carried out the design and architecture of the space around a table which had been built by using the wine’s shipping boxes, above the table there is a lamp made out of more than 300 wine glasses which is the focus of attention of the area. All the activity of the shop tasting, meetings and wine sales takes place around this main central table.
