 Swedish designer and illustrator Hanna Werning creates new designs for Lightab´s brilliant IDA® mirror. Hanna Werning´s new interior collection of IDA® mirror includes five different playful and sustainable patterns; Play, Rise, Bamboo, Tessella and Lusio.

“Inspired by Lightab´s sustainability work and the unique construction of IDA® mirror, I was excited to be the designer of the new thinner IDA® mirror IP20 for 2018. The challenge was to create a series of decorative designs that work both as a good light source as well as a functioning mirror. This collection contains five new patterns, which are bold and cheerful, yet timeless, each with their own special expression. The inspiration comes from traditional theater mirrors, bamboo constructions to optical illusions”, says Hanna Werning.

The IDA® mirror has many unique features. The mirror emits an environmentally friendly light coming from the pattern blasted in the mirror’s surface, and thanks to the patent pending solution, the mirror gives a smooth light without shadows.

The IDA® mirror front can be easily upgraded and replaced by new design patterns. IDA® mirror exists in IP44 and the new thinner IP20. One of the more unique features is that the mirror is 97.2% sustainable.
