Visiting a doctor, dentist, or a biochemical lab usualy creates personal discomfort. One of the reasons is certainly the atmosphere, the ambience of these spaces.  We wanted to change this and a new Beo-Lab laboratory was opened in Resavska Street, with the interior design signed by the Belgrade design studio reMiks, led by architect Maja Lalic.

This is another in the series of Beo Lab labs that spread to 1300m2 in Resavska Street. The lab was carried out according to world standards, and the aim was to offer the offer, services and quality of analyzes at the level of world leading laboratories. The project is conceived as a "complete laboratory project", in which a patient can obtain all services in the field of laboratory diagnosis in one place.

Special attention was paid to creating an inspiring environment for employees and visitors. The design of the interior was entrusted to the multi-award winning architectural studio reMiks, with the architect Maj Lalić at the helm. The entire creative concept of the new Beo-Lab lab came from the mutual desire of the architectural team and investors to "humanize" the new medical space, adapt it to users and psychologically relieve them of common discomfort associated with visiting similar institutions.

Bright and simple space, enriched with accents of vibrant colors in the form of murals and graphic symbols for various activities in the laboratory, refreshed with freshness and positive energy, making the new building in Resavska Street meet an almost "impossible mission" - giving blood and visits to laboratories are a pleasant experience and for the youngest users.

Bearing in mind the modern user who wants to be informed about the content and quality of the services he uses, ReMiks has applied transparent barriers between the users' zones and the workshops where analyzes are made, as another architectural gesture of the unveiling of scientific processes that take place in "Beo -baby laboratories "and approaching the laboratory staff to the citizens.

The space is architecturally adapted to children and the elderly. Particular attention was paid to equipping the laboratory to provide optimum conditions for people with disabilities:
• A system for automatic patient reading (patient on the monitor follows the sequence), avoiding crowds in the waiting room
• Special lift for people with disabilities, poorly mobile and elderly patients
• Children's adjoining waiting rooms, with special access to sampling

Beo-lab in the new modern laboratory offers complete services in the field of laboratory diagnostics: biochemistry, microbiology and pathohistology. It has new analyzers and last generation appliances, which allow for the most up-to-date analysis. The only private laboratory in Belgrade with new diagnostic devices and the only one in this part of Europe that owns the latest generation apparatus for immunohistochemical staining of tissue. All the devices are integrated with the integrated
software, which carries out a comprehensive quality control of the laboratory's sampling of the sample taken from the patient, thereby minimizing the errors. Beo-lab Laboratory is accredited and certified according to the standard for medical laboratories ISO.
